10+ Best Books

My reading list.

Those books have been either recommended to me or I’ve stumbled across them and they had a massive impact on me.

The list isn’t completed, it’s evergrowing. The order is random, just read them all!

1.  Nonfiction books

Atomic Habits

Hands down the best book on creating long-lasting habits. It’s full of great tips and it gives you a full understanding of habits, good and bad. You will get better, 1% at the time!

12 Rules For Life

Is Peterson a ”rock start of modern psychology”? meh… I don’t know.  But the book is good, very good. Some of the topics might be a little bit controversial, but for me, this is one of the best books explaining what a meaningful life is and how to live it.

Sapiens

Read this book if you are interested in the history and future of our species. After Sapiens, read Homo Deus to learn what challenges, we people, are about to face.

Man’s Search for Meaning

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

Can’t Hurt Me

When I first learned about this guy, he really annoyed me. Now I know why! He had the balls to dig deep, hard, never quit and I felt unsecured by this.
But after reading the book, I’ve changed my mind. It’s a great story of passion and drive of a very humble guy.
Get it, you will not be disappointed.

Living with the seal

Have you ever thought how much do you leave on the table by not going 100%, quitting too early and not believing in yourself? It’s super funny and motivational at the same time!

Open: An Autobiography

My favourite tennis player. I loved him for the energy and passion for the game. You can also learn what it takes to be the best, and what price you have to pay to be at the top.

The Barcelona Way: How to Create a High-performance Culture

Always humble, with a purpose bigger than football, my favourite team ever.

2.  Fiction Books

Shantaram
In my opinion, the best fiction book of all the time. It is an incredible story of an Aussie who finds himself in the thick of Bombays crimes scene in 80. The big love, drama, a lot of philosophy, good people of slams, drugs, prison escapes, war, death, you will find it all there. And India, colourful, vibrant, alive. Because this book I had to visit infamous Leopold Cafe on my last Bombay trip.

Don’t start reading if you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, it is a hell of the book, and you will not be able to put it down!

The sequel, Mountain Shadow,  is also very good!

Ready Player One

Entertaining. And like all the sci-fi books, bit scary… Is this really what waiting for us in the future?

The Martian

Wow. I have watched the movie, and I really liked it. The book is 10 times better!

Crime And Punishment

A classic. It will never get old.

The Master and Margarita

The book of my teens. Still very good.
